HEARING AID OPERATION
HOW TO INSERT AND REMOVE THE HEARING AID:
1. Put your index finger on top of the hearing aid, above the volume
wheel.
2. Put your thumb at the bottom of the hearing aid.
3. To insert the hearing aid, rise your hand to your ear placing
the hearing aid in the ear and twisting your wrist backward toward your
shoulder.
4. To remove the hearing aid, grab the hearing aid with your thumb
and index finger and twist your wrist outward and toward your nose.
HOW TO TURN THE HEARING AID ON
1. Close the battery door completely.
2. Turn the volume control toward your nose until you like the way
the hearing aid sounds in your ear. You cannot ask anyone else if it
is at the right spot, you have to listen and decide for yourself.
HOW TO TURN THE HEARING AID OFF
There are two ways to turn off your hearing aid:
1. Open up the battery door most of the way to disconnect the battery,
or;
2. Turn the volume control backwards until there is a click and it
will not turn further. This turns the power off.
VOLUME CONTROL OPERATION
- Press your index finger on the raised wheel.
- Twist your wrist forward toward your nose to make the hearing aid
louder.
- Twist your wrist backward toward your shoulder to make the hearing
aid softer.
- Your goal should be louder, clearer, more comfortable voice recognition.
- If the voices of others sound like an echo or boom, turn down the
volume control slightly.
- If the voice is just about clear, but not clear enough, turn up
the volume control.
HOW TO OPERATE THE TELEPHONE (T-COIL) SWITCH
Move the Telephone Switch in the following directions for telephone
options:
- If the switch is installed UP AND DOWN:
- Up = Phone

Down = Regular Listening
- If the switch is installed FRONT TO BACK:
- There will be instructions on proper operation.
