Many persons suffer from "itching" in their ears. This product can be applied to the skin surface of the ear with a cotton swab (Q-tip, for example) to help reduce itching. It should be applied when the hearing aid will not be worn for awhile. If you have allergies to topical medications, you should consult your medical doctor prior to using this product.
