Hearing Aid Manufacturing Experience:  1990-1994, co-owner of Harmony Hearing Aids Company, Northfield, OH; manufactured custom in-the-ear instruments and distributed them to both accounts of dispensing offices and to the local general public; marketing and education Vice President (during which time the company displayed products at major national, regional and local conferences/conventions of audiologists and hearing aid dispensers.)

Ohio Licensing Board:
Member 1977-84; Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Licensing Board, (Appointed for two terms by Governor Rhodes)

Authored Ohio Legislation:
1988 passed and signed into law, 10-year initiative to mandate infant hearing screening in Ohio

Committee Chair:
Ohio Infant Hearing Screening and Assessment Subcommittee of Ohio Department of Health Medical Advisory Committee (5-year term) to create regulations based on legislation, and to implement the Infant hearing paper-screening program

Chaired ASHA’s committee on development of a Model Speech Pathology and Audiology Licensure bill for professionals throughout the United States, 1973-74
